My mission
I am Juanita Lopez running for Mayor of Los Angeles with a commitment to bringing fresh perspectives and effective solutions to our city's most pressing challenges. My core mission and campaign is focused on community empowerment, economic transparency, and sustainable growth with a cleaner environment for all.
Key issues for Los Angeles
I am dedicated to tackling the issues that matter most to us Angelenos. From check and balances to a safe healthy environment to live in. My platform offers practical and forward-thinking solutions. My platform is an achievable goal for all of us. I am not running on empty promises. I entered this race to bring accountability to our city because I am for the people. I am you.
Clean our City
Clean City Initiative:
I will operate the sanitation department 24/7 and create smaller departments in various council districts to ensure citywide service availability.

Financial Transparency
I will bring transparency to taxpayers by making the budget public every quarter until the end of the fiscal year. Every cent will be accounted for.
Sales Tax Cut
I will reduce the sales tax to 8%.
This sales tax reduction will benefit restaurant businesses, small businesses, and provide more buying power for visitors and tourists from around the world.
Enforcement
I will reinstate the NO-LITTERING lAW, which has been severely neglected by the current city administration. It will be fully enforced and will allow us to eliminate homeless encampments in our parks, schools, and walkways.
